If you love the internet, vote Ron Paul

CNET news has a great interview with Ron Paul about the internet, and net neutrality. Although Ron Paul does not know much about the internet compared to his supporters, all the questions are easy for him because he simply applies the principles of the Constitution. Ron Paul is also opposed to the DMCA, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Those in the free software world should support Ron Paul for this reason since he is the only candidate who has consistently shown to vote correctly on issues such as the DMCA that don’t get much controlled media publicity.

Help Ron Paul Win the Battle of the Yard Signs

    Why is this so important?

    1. Increase of Donations.
Many more people will donate to the Ron Paul Campaign if they think he is viable. A lot of yard signs on highways will convince them that Ron Paul is viable and that he has a lot of support out there.

    2. Increase Votes for Ron Paul - Band Wagon Effect.
At a recent social gathering, a friend said that he is leaning toward voting for Ron Paul, but “it would be a wasted vote, since he does not have a prayer of a chance.” There are thousands of people out there who are in the same category. Thousands of undecided people are waiting on you to take action to persuade them that Ron Paul is a viable candidate.

    3. Yard Signs - the first convincing witness.
By 2 or 3 witnesses your friends will be convinced. As most lawyers in the court room know, if the jury can hear the same information from 2 or 3 sources, they will be convinced. For your friends and people in your community, the first witness of Ron Paul should be a yard sign on a major highway, and the second witness should be a sign in a yard. By mounting a credible yard sign campaign, we have gotten half way with convincing them to vote for Ron Paul. Other sources, such as email, advertisements, or seeing Ron Paul in a debate may convince them to then vote for Ron Paul. Have you done your part by getting yard signs up on a major highway or interstate near you? I am constantly meeting people like you who brag what a big supporter of Ron Paul they are. They then receive a challenge from me on how many yard signs have you put up? Put up or shut up.

Our top priority should be to get signs up on an interstate near us. If everyone would do that, the impressions upon the public would be profound. As a news commentator on MSNBC a couple of days ago said to Ron Paul, “You have an impressive number of yard signs in Iowa”. The Ron Paul Sign Bomb begins on January 8. Voting in most areas is only a month away. Is your area covered?

Remember that yard signs mounted from a ladder are there to stay, and are harder to tear down. Interstates make up 5% of the roads, yet they have 35% of the traffic. Therefore, please make it a point to make it a top priority to get out yard signs on an interstate near you.

Reports from several sources say that there are many more Ron Paul yard signs in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina than the other candidates. Thousands of yard signs in yards and on the highways gets the message out that the liberal media is trying to suppress. News stories have mentioned the wide distribution of Ron Paul yard signs. Help us with a story that Ron Paul yard signs are on interstates all over the nation.

    Buy your yard signs from:
    1. www.ronpaul2008.com
This is the official campaign. The advantage is that a purchase of a yard sign or other campaign material counts as a donation towards the Ron Paul Campaign. Unless you are in an early primary state, you may have difficulty getting your signs and stickers in a timely manner as many have reported. If ordering from them, it is suggested that you confirm
    delivery dates.

    2. Recommend web sites for popular unofficial campaign sources.
    www.ronpaulgrassrootshq.com or www.ronpaulstickers.com
These web sites have assisted in filling in the gap when the official campaign has not been able to keep up with demand. Find these web sites on a banner ad at www.dailypaul.com or www.ronpaulforums.com
Advantages of obtaining yard signs, stickers, and other items from these web sites are:
    a. Faster shipping and prompt delivery.
    b. Cheapest prices, cheaper than the official web site and other suppliers who are trying to make money.
    c. Your name does not appear on a campaign finance report.
    d. While these signs look like the official ones, at the bottom it clearly states that these are not authorized by the campaign. The advantage is that if some of your aggressive youthful supporters post signs on the state right of way or in violation of a very restrictive city ordnance, the official campaign and their lawyers do not have to deal with the harassment of city bureaucrats.

Ensure the Ron Paul Sign Bomb, beginning on January 8 is a success. Suggest that your local meetup group place a combined order. Make sure that your local area is covered.

Another Home schooler for Ron Paul

Here’s great post from a home schooling father about why home schoolers should join the Ron Paul revolution. Ron Paul has even dedicated a portion of his website to home schoolers. Consider Ron Paul’s comments on the house floor in support of home schooling.

Mr. Speaker, the best way to improve education is to return control over education resources to the people who best know their children’s unique needs: those children’s parents. Congress should empower all parents, whether they choose to home school or send their child to a public or private school, with the means to control their child’s education. That is why I believe the most important education bill introduced in this Congress is the Family Education Freedom Act.

Six million for Dr. Paul in one day

Dr. Ron Paul’s supporters have done it again. They have successfully broken their own single day fund raising record by raising over $6 million day. Unfortunately the Tea Party fund raiser has not received as much attention as the November 5th event. Hopefully the increasingly irrelevant controlled media will report this tomorrow. For now here is some of the news coverage.

Reuters: Ron Paul White House bid raises $4.5 million
Washington Post blog:On Tea Party Anniversary, Ron Paul Raises Millions

AP: Paul Raises $6 Million in 24-Hour Effort
Boston Globe: Ron Paul’s tea party for dollars
Toms Hardware:Ron Paul hauls in $6 million in one day via Internet

Stay updated on the Ron Paul campaign by visiting the Daily Paul. Keep track of fund raising at Ron Paul Graphs. Join your local Ron Paul meetup. Purchase campaign materials from Ron Paul Grassroots HQ.
